In Southeast Iceland you can find some of the most spectacular ice and glacier formations of Europe, such as the Vatnajökull (“Lake Glacier”) and Jökulsárlón (Glcier Lagoon), most impressive mountain ranges with the highest peak of Iceland, Hvannadalshnúkur, the large nature reserve Lónsöræfi, the rough ocean and small bays, wild herds of reindeer and bird ressorts, picturesque ports and the seemingly endless vastness which is so typical for this country.
Professional photographer Stephan Mantler will show you the photographic hot spots of this area, help you improve your skills with landscape photography, mood and action shots, and people and animal portraits and has some good tips and hints for your digital post processing.
The trips to the photo locations will be made in an off road truck, that allows us to also get to rather inaccessible hot spots, that stay hidden for most of the common tourists. The maximum group size on our tours is 4 people, so that we can make sure to give you a personal and individual consultation at all times. During the workshops you are accomodated at our farm Dynjandi. So we kick off all tours from one single starting point and don’t have to deal with transfers between different guest houses, no annoying suitcase packing every morning, no stress, but all energy for the best photos!
